The club has shared underwater and overhead views of young swimmers, as well as stroke demonstrations. These posts offer a window into technical training. Ask how a coach would observe your child’s current swimming and which changes they would prioritise.
Make feedback understandable.
A useful coaching conversation connects an observation with a clear next goal. Families can ask how feedback is explained, whether a swimmer has time to practise it and how progress is reviewed. For international families, the language of that feedback is worth confirming.
Choose a group that fits.
Age alone does not describe experience, pace or confidence. Share the strokes your child knows, how often they currently swim and what they hope to improve. Ask the coach about the current development groups and whether an assessment is appropriate.

Are swimming lessons taught in English?
Yes. MXZZ can provide swimming lessons in English. Tell us your preferred teaching language when you enquire so that we can confirm an appropriate session and coach for your child.
What is the class size and coach-to-swimmer ratio?
The ratio depends on the group and must be confirmed with the coach. Ask how swimmers are grouped by age, ability and confidence, and how much individual feedback your child will receive.
Can coaching help an existing swimmer improve technique?
The club’s published material includes stroke demonstrations, underwater footage and training sessions. Share which strokes your child swims and what they want to improve; the coach can advise on an appropriate training group.
How should parents discuss swimming progress?
Agree a small set of goals with the coach: confidence, a more consistent stroke, or preparation for a race. Ask how feedback is shared and when those goals will be reviewed. Individual race results are examples, not promises for other children.
